Personal Journey

Susan grew up in an active family. At 19, she had a ski accident that required knee surgery. Even after the surgery, she was not completely free of pain and there was a significant amount of scar tissue. When she was in massage school, one of the classes she took was Myofascial Release (MFR). After only one treatment, the inflammation in her knee subsided and the pain was gone. MFR helped to unloosen the scar tissue in the fascia of her knee allowing it to move more freely an independently without pain. At this point, she knew this was the field that she wanted specialize in. She was so inspired, she took every course and read every book she could get her hands on.
